Thank you for visiting the YWCA El Paso del Norte Region’s “be-Y Miracles Happen” Capital Campaign website.

YWCA facilities are essential to the work performed by dedicated staff and volunteers who bring YWCA programs and services to life. Our facilities were generously built by friends and supporters. The YWCA is committed to investing in our programs and facilities to continue serving the needs of our community.

You are the driving force behind the movement. Our accountability to you is essential to the success of this campaign. This micro-site will give you a front-row seat to how your generosity is meeting the needs of our community.

At this time, the YWCA Board of Directors has identified
$12 million in capital improvements necessary to maintain operations and to continue serving El Paso families.

Invest in our children by updating child-development technology, renovating and updating kitchens and kitchen equipment in our early learning center facilities, investing in curriculum that meets the highest standards to prepare children for school, completing playground upgrades, and replacing old learning centers.

Improve safety, security and accessibility for our members, clients and staff by upgrading and installing security equipment and monitoring systems at all locations and by improving outdoor lighting, repaving parking lots and entry walkways at branch locations.

Create efficient, cost-effective systems for membership management, billing, donor relations, human-resource services and accounting through improved technology, infrastructure and communication-systems upgrades agency-wide.

Maintain facilities that are modern, up-to-date and energy-efficient. We will replace roofs on branch facilities, upgrade our swimming-pool filtration systems and exercise equipment, refurbish flooring, and bring the YWCA “brand” to all branch, and administrative locations to comply with YWCA of the USA standards.

Improve conditions for our members, residents and clients by updating our facilities’ heating, cooling and plumbing systems and enclose the upper walkway at the Sara McKnight Transitional Living Center.

Endow the future of the YWCA El Paso del Norte Region’s programs.
